Monument Valley - May 1995
From famous professional, to senior amateur and to amateur photographers from all over
the world come to Monument Valley just to shoot the pictures of their artistic dreams. It
has been a truly one-of-a-kind photographer's paradise. Of cause we would not miss this
one of the natural wonders of the world, just to drive few hundreds mile on our way.
Don't miss this beautiful place.
The night when we drove across Utah state line, it was already passed mid night.
Following the dust road under the moon night, we finally reached the Navajo Monument
Valley Camp ground. We found an empty space and quickly set up our tent. The Lake Powell
dinner we have had six hours ago has long gone. We were too sleepy to take care of our
stomach and fell into sleep right away.
Joe was waken up by the foot steps around our tent, and he checked for the watch. It
was only five o'clock and the sun was not even up yet. What's going on? Joe was wondering
and woke up Janet.
When we unzip our tent, under the down light, we can not believe what we was in front
of our camp site. I quickly took out our camera and snapped the following shots.

Monument Valley belongs to Navajo who live here for centuries. We have to join the
Navajo guided tour in order to get to some restricted area. Therefore, we hired an Navajo
as our tourguide for our jeep tour through Monument Valley. He was born and raised in this
beautiful and enchanting place... and who else is better qualified and knows the best
places and camera angels that someone who lived there all his life? He was proud and happy
to share with us the beauty of his Motherland, and drove us to some magnificent sites
Monument Valley has to offer.
Join in the fun and go on a safari-like jeep tour through Monument Valley!
Here follows a small selection of what we has been. So... enjoy...awesome beauty...
