MONTRAL
Canada's second largest city. This is also the second largest French-speaking metropolis
outside France, but only two-thirds of the city's two million people are of French
extraction. The other third including eastern Europeans, Chinese, Italians, Greeks, Jews,
South Americans and West Indians. The result is a truly multi-dimensional city, with a
global variety of eateries, bars and clubs, matched by a calendar of festivals that makes
this the most vibrant place in Canada. And therefore, people there are much more willing
to speak English at least.
Their down town is full of live. The Notre dome are glorious.
