Da Vinci's The Last Supper was finally back on display
after 22-year restoration. On May 28, 1999 when it was the first day to re-open to public,
we happened to be there and were very lucky to get in after waiting for hours. The
restoration took five times longer than it originally took Da Vinci to paint. |
