Europe was our childhood dreams --- fairytale castles, Eiffel Tower, Pisa Leaning Tower,Gondola Ride in Venice, St. Maco Square, Roman Coliseum, daVinci's Mona Lisa and Last Supper, Michaelanglo's David

In the spring of 1999, we finally made our childhood dreams come true. In 18 days, we travelled to Paris, Loire Valley, Milano, Venize, Firenze, Pisa, Cinque Terr and Roma. Everywhere we turned around, there were always some childhood symbols of Europe. We had so much fun together. We enjoyed delicate French and Italian Cuisine, indulged ourselves with good wine, got lost in the totally French neighborhood, experienced high speed TGV, walked up to Eiffel Tower, wondered inside the Roman ruins, explored the tiny canals in Gondola.

The Europe trip also changed our view toward life. Their culture is so rich and rooted from so long ago. On the other hand, we realized how fragile life it was. Life comes and goes in a matter of flash. Only the brightest one could leave foot print or shadow, and still, it was fading away. It reminds us how precious our life is when we have our current moments, and also how precious life it is. We learned to take things easy and appreciate every moment we have. Life is so short, enjoy it while you still can.
