Drive In
Home Up

Have been American for over half decade without visiting drive in movie is a joke for American friend of us. So we went to one first time in our life. So many time we watched 'drive in' on screen, light is deem, music is far away and people are kissing more than watch movie. Well at less that's my understood of drive in. These all changed since we have been one last weekend.

We went to the drive in theater with our American friends last weekend. They told us: 'make sure you bring lots sleeping bags.'

Janet and I got there early. The sun was still high up on the sky. And there will be another two hours before the movie start. After meeting our friends,
we got the tickets and drove in the theater. It is a six screens theater and there are already cars filled in the best spot of each lot. Some were having
BBQ there. We backed into the theater with the trunk facing the screen. Gather in friend's big Bronco, we have a picnic in their truck and watching
the sun goes down and the music turns up.

When the sky got dark, we got back to our truck making bed on our back trunk. When the movie began, Janet and I already settled into our sleeping bags...

Friend told us we might see some cars bumping up and down during the movie. I checked around once a while during the movie and I did see one such
bumping car and wondered why...

We enjoy it and plan to go back soon, with our BBQ next time.
