Whenever the Christmas and New Year comes, we always feel alone if we just stay at home. 1998's was not different. As the holiday season approaching and so was our feeling of homesick.

Joe wanted go to Australia to visit his brother long ago. However, either because of budget or time, or both, we never had a chance, up till then. Joe's company would have a week long shutdown that triggered our last minute plan - have a summer Christmas and New Year with Joe's family in Australia.

Joe was so exited when we made the final decision for our holiday planning. When Joe announced our plan to his brother Henry, they both almost broke down in tears. They did not see each other for many years. Henry was so happy for the coming reunion. He sent us the itinerary the second day and booked the whole trip for us. It is the first time that we can travel far without worry about ticket and lodging.
